 Tracy Odell When my father died, leaving me as executor of his estate, I had to figure out how to carry out my responsibilities while quietly grieving his passing. The fact that we were living in two different cities in the mix of a COVID pandemic threatened to complicate matters. I called various real estate agents in Belleville to begin the process of selling Dad's house. Once I spoke to Debra Tosh, I knew I found the real estate agent I wanted to work with. Debra went above and beyond to help me. She provided guidance, suggestions as to where to dispose of some of the items in Dad's house, and stayed in constant contact with me about the sale's progress. Fred and Lynda, March 2013 Tyler & Krista So I was 19 years old and getting ready to make one the biggest decisions of my life, I’m going to buy a house. I didn’t know the first place to start. I was at Joseph’s with Krista and we were all talking about looking at houses and about where to start and then Joseph spoke up and said “I know this GREAT real estate agent, her name is Debra Tosh and she so fun”. So I took his advice and called you. Well you took no time in getting together with us to sit down and talk about what we wanted. We got off to a bit of a rocky start, all of the houses we went to see on the first day were disgusting dives but you just seem to have a way of pointing out all the good things in each house (although there were very few and sometimes no good things). But you promised us we would keep looking, which we did. We went from Belleville to Trenton the next time we went out to look at houses in the pouring rain. You took us to what we thought was perfect house, to start off. It had everything we were looking for, a little over our price range. Then we continued on to look at more houses which had a lot in common to the houses in Belleville. It was just before my 20th birthday we put in an offer and this time it all worked out for the best and I now own the house that is just perfect for Krista and I. You definitely earned your money working with us but you made this one of the best experiences of our life and would recommend you to anyone buying a house first time or 5th time. You didn’t make it about just going in and looking at the house, you made it fun, having laughs, and telling us all of your wild and crazy ideas and even sitting in a home-made hot tub with Krista. She was absolutely correct; it did, within a month we had the SOLD sign up and had our deal closed on the house we purchased and all 45 days earlier than expected As you can expect the whole ordeal of buying and selling a home is quite traumatic but with Debra we found her humour was appreciated during the real stressful situations and her strength and forcefulness was welcomed when we needed her to ask those tough questions.
